We can scan your original artwork no matter what the size.
Here at Digital ImageWorks all artwork is scanned using a Betterlight scan-back mounted on a 4x5 view camera. Because the "scanner" does not contact the artwork, we can safely scan any medium, including pastels.
This equipment produces a 144 Megapixel image and is capable of capturing even the most subtle of details, including brush strokes.
In addition, our photographer, Alan LaVallee has over 20 years of experience with art reproduction. While we can work from your own slide, negative, or digital file, we think you will be much happier with the end result if we do the the scanning. This give us more control over the clarity of the image and the colors will more closely match the original work. The Betterlight is also ideal for scanning large documents and maps.
